The Marantz SR5003 home cinema receiver is a high performance, high power design that offers outstanding ability for its class and is ready-and-waiting for High Definition audio and video.
It not only accommodates HDMI 1.3a video switching with Deep Color support, it also houses decoders for Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio. A video processor for conversion and upscaling of all analogue signals up to HDMI 1080p makes sure your home theatre experience will reach new heights.
The seven equal power amplifier section, with high current discrete output on all channels, can easily handle the most demanding scenes of action films, offering excellent sound quality on music playback from Blu-ray DiscTM, DVD or CD. Even your digital compressed audio in MP3, WMA or AAC-format will sound clearer and more detailed by implementing M- (Marantz Dynamic Audio Expander).
With a multitude of features, like automatic speaker setup with room acoustics correction by Audyssey MULTEQ, multi-room with multi-source flexibility, Video Off mode and high-grade components, and highly accurate 24-bit/192kHz audio D/A converters, the SR5003 makes sure you experience your movies and music in true and dynamic Marantz style.

Marantz enters the High Definition (HD) arena with the new reference standard BD8002 Blu-ray disc and DVD player.
With an unrivalled Full High Definition 1080p image, and the ability to output Blu-ray discs at true film-like 24 frames per second, your favourite movies have never looked more life-like and crystal clear. The 12-bit/297MHz video processor ensures you see images as never before, while the Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD decoding recreates an incredibly detailed, and one hundred percent lossless, High Definition soundtrack, making your home cinema experience as intense and exciting as possible. Even better, the high quality video and audio processing ensures standard DVDs will look and sound almost as good as HD material.
The BD8002 has a multitude of features: first of all it is equipped with an HDMI 1.3a terminal, supporting Deep Color, which is able to transfer uncompressed High Definition data. Additionally, it not only outputs the Blu-ray format, but also gets the most out of your existing DVD collection by upscaling the discs to 1080p quality. This excellence is supported by a wide variety of audio decoders such as PCM, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital and DTS. Your DVDs will look and sound better than ever when you play them back on the BD8002.
The convenient SD card slot allows easy viewing of high definition videos and photos, and even digitally stored music – including MP3 and WMA files – can be replayed via the BD8002. With the introduction of the Final Standard Profile – profile 1.1 – Blu-ray lets you enjoy movies at a whole new level with never before seen features, such as picture-in-picture mode, which delivers enhanced commentary from directors and actors, backstage pass and peek behind the scenes.
The slick Graphical User Interface provides easy and clear set up. Completing the package is an RS232 interface and an intuitive remote control for easy controlling.
